Delete your SaveTheSnack accountfrom the mobile app.
For your security, account deletion must be requested while you are signed in to the SaveTheSnack mobile application.
This allows us to verify your identity and helps prevent another person from attempting to delete your account without permission.
Account deletion is permanent
Once your deletion request has been completed, you will no longer be able to sign in or access the information stored in your account.

Contact our support team if you cannot sign in, no longer have access to your email address or need assistance submitting a deletion request.

How to delete your account
Open the SaveTheSnack app and follow the steps below.
Sign in to SaveTheSnack
Open the mobile app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open the Account menu
Navigate to your Account menu from the application navigation or profile area.
Open the Security tab
Inside the Account menu, select the Security tab.
Complete the deletion form
Fill in the form, review the information shown and provide any required confirmation.
Confirm your request
Submit the form to confirm that you want your SaveTheSnack account permanently deleted.
What happens to your information?
Information connected only to your account will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
Account access
You will no longer be able to sign in to the deleted account.
Personal profile
Your profile information and account preferences will be removed.
Food management data
Your private inventory, meal plans, waste records and other account data will be deleted or anonymised.
Shared information
Some information may remain where it is part of a shared list or public contribution, but it may be anonymised.
Required records
Limited information may be retained where required for legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes.
